DHAKA, Aug 16, 2026 (BSS) - Police have filed a case after arresting two people red-handed for allegedly trying to snatch fraud case accused Md Yousuf from the Dhaka Chief Judicial Magistrate Court premises.

The two arrestees are- Md Sohagh Khan and Md Nazmul Hasan.

"On Saturday afternoon, accused Yousuf was brought to the Dhaka Chief Judicial Magistrate Court premises in connection with a case filed with Savar Model Police Station. At that time, some people attempted to snatch him, prompting police to arrest two of them red-handed," court inspector Kamal Uddin told BSS.

Following the incident, Sub-Inspector Humayun Kabir, in-charge of the lock-up at the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, filed the case with Kotwali Police Station.
