DHAKA, Aug 14, 2026 (BSS) - Jatrabari police of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested 13 people allegedly involved in various criminal activities during a special drive under Jatrabari area yesterday.

According to media and public relations division of DMP release today, Jatrabari Police Station carried out the drive on Thursday and arrested them.

It said the arrestees included accused in regular criminal cases as well as individuals allegedly involved in various other offences.

 The release said the arrested were identified as Ramzan (40), Mithu Sikdar (39), Enayet, Md Aziz (19), Imdadul (19), Md Sani (28), Md Mainul Islam (23), Md Kamruzzaman (33), Md Jasim (30), Md Monir Hossain (35), Md Majid Ali (45), Md Hanif (36) and Habib Khan.

Police produced them before the court after taking legal proceedings. The DMP's Jatrabari police will continue such anti crime operations to maintain law and order in the area.
