DHAKA, Aug 13, 2026 (BSS) - Police today arrested 45 people for their alleged involvement in various criminal activities during a special operation in the Mirpur Model Police Station area of the capital.

According to a press release, the arrests were made during regular operations conducted over the past 24 hours in different crime-prone areas under the police station's jurisdiction.

Legal proceedings against the arrested individuals are underway.
