DHAKA, Aug 13, 2026 (BSS) - A fire that broke out at several tin-shed residential rooms in Shyamoli here was brought under control after nearly an hour of frantic efforts this afternoon.

The Fire Service brought the blaze under control at around 4:10pm today, after it originated on Road No. 3 in Shyamoli around 3:15pm, said Anwarul Islam, media officer of the Fire Service and Civil Defence.

Two units from the Mohammadpur Fire Station responded to the incident and brought the fire under control 

No casualties have been reported so far.
