CHATTOGRAM, Aug 10 (BSS)- Election Commission today published the draft list of vote centres for Chattogram City Corporation, Upazila parishads, Pourashava and Union parishad polls, along with a draft summary of center-wise voter numbers.

According to the list, the total number of voters across the local government elections exceeds 1.15 crore. There are more than 4,200 vote centers and over 22,000 rooms.

The draft vote center list has been published ahead of elections for the Chattogram City Corporation, 16 upazila parishads, 14 pourashavas and 189 union parishads.

Any claims or objections regarding the draft list must be submitted in written by August 18. After verification the claims and objections will be resolved, said a notice signed by Senior District Election Officer Mohammad Bashir Ahmed,

Relevant appellate authority will hear and resolve claims and objections by August 23 and final vote center list will be published on August 27.
