DHAKA, Aug 10, 2026 (BSS) - Police have arrested 60 people in separate special drives in Dhaka's Jatrabari, Turag, Khilkhet and Hazaribagh areas for their alleged involvement in various crimes.

Of them, 25 were arrested in Jatrabari, 11 in Turag, six in Khilkhet and 18 in Hazaribagh, bringing the total to 60.

The drives were conducted on Sunday in various crime-prone areas.

Police said the arrestees include regular offenders, warrant-listed accused and people involved in different criminal activities.
