DHAKA, Aug 9, 2026 (BSS) – The government has transferred 12 senior assistant secretaries to various districts as additional deputy commissioners (ADCs).

“The officers will join their working stations, where they were posted, by August 10 otherwise they will be treated as ‘stand released’ from afternoon on August 10,” according to a ministry transfer order issued on Thursday.

According to the ministry notification, Chodhwury Mofizur Rahman and Tahmina Akter have been transferred to Madaripur as ADCs, Nahida Akter and Dilruba Islam to Shariatpur as ADCs, Farzana Yeasmin to Faridpur as ADC, Kazi Nahid Eva to Manikganj as ADC, Sumaiya Momin to Tangail as ADC, Wadiya Shabab and Mahmudul Hasan to Kishoreganj as ADCs, Nusrat Ara Khanam and Elora Yeasmin to Rajbari as ADCs and Sagufta Haque to Munshiganj as ADC.

The order issued for the public interest will be effectivee immediately.
