DHAKA, Aug 9, 2026 (BSS) – Police today recovered a pistol and a revolver along with six rounds of ammunition from the Khilgaon area in the capital.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of police from Shahjahanpur Police Station conducted a drive in the garbage area near Jhilpar Public Toilet and recovered the firearms, which had been left abandoned, at around 12:35 am, according to a DMP press release.

The release said legal proceedings in this regard are underway.
