DHAKA, Aug 7, 2026 (BSS) - Police of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested 14 people allegedly involved in various criminal activities during a special drive conducted in different crime-prone areas over the past 24 hours.

According to media and public relations division of DMP release today, the detainees included accused in warrant cases as well as individuals allegedly involved in various criminal offences.

It said the arrested were identified as Md Tajul Haque, Tamjid, 19, Apel, 35, Md Sagar, 25, Rafidoye Rakib, 24, Md Hasan, 24, Md Jony, 20, Anwar Hossain, 40, Md Ibrahim, 23, Manik Ratan, 44, Md Raju, 60, Rakibul Hasan, 26, Md Shawon, 19 and Md Al Amin, 23.

The release said the arrestees have been produced before the court after taking legal proceedings.
