DHAKA, Aug 6, 2026 (BSS) – The government has promoted additional secretary of energy and mineral resources division Md Ziaul Haque to the rank of secretary and posted him to the same division.

According to a notification issued by the public administration ministry here today. 

Another notification said that the government also transferred energy division secretary Mohammad Saiful Islam to disaster management and relief ministry.

The notifications said that the promotion and transfer orders issued in the public interest will come into effect immediately.
