DHAKA, Aug 6, 2026 (BSS) – The government has promoted Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs Jesmin Nahar to the rank of secretary and posted her to the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification in this regard today.

Another notification said the government has transferred Secretary of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education Md Shakhawat Hossain to the Ministry of Public Administration.

The notifications said the promotion and transfer orders, issued in the public interest, will come into effect immediately.
