DHAKA, Aug 6, 2026 (BSS) - Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Administrator Md. Shafiqul Islam Khan today paid tribute at the grave of former Chief of Naval Staff and former communications and agriculture minister Rear Admiral Mahbub Ali Khan on the occasion of his 42nd death anniversary.

The DNCC administrator placed a wreath at the grave of the late Mahbub Ali Khan at Banani Military graveyard in the capital this morning.

After paying tribute, he joined a special prayer seeking eternal peace for the departed soul of Mahbub Ali Khan.

DNCC Chief Executive Officer Muhammad Asaduzzaman, Chief Waste Management Officer Commodore Md. Humayun Kabir and senior officials of different departments of Dhaka North City Corporation were present, among others, on the occasion.

Meanwhile, a special doa mahfil was held at the DNCC Central Mosque after Zuhr prayers today to mark the 42nd death anniversary of Mahbub Ali Khan.
