DHAKA, Aug 2, 2026 (BSS) – Md. Saidur Rahman Khan has assumed office as the Secretary of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) today. He is a member of the 17th batch of the Bangladesh Civil Service (Administration) Cadre.
He was appointed as the ACC Secretary through a notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on July 30. Prior to this appointment, he had been serving as the Secretary of the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief since January 5 this year.
Saidur Rahman Khan obtained his Bachelor's (Honours) and Master's degrees in English Literature, as well as a Master's degree in Education, from the University of Rajshahi. He later obtained higher degrees from the University of Dhaka and the University of Greenwich in London.
A resident of Rajshahi district, Saidur Rahman Khan is married. His wife is a homemaker and the couple has one son and one daughter.
