BAF holds certificate award ceremony for 67th Flying Instructors' Course

DHAKA, July 30, 2026 (BSS) – The Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) today held the certificate award ceremony for the 67th Flying Instructors' Course at the Air Force Flying Instructors' School at Erulia Airfield in Bogura.

Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Operations) Air Vice Marshal Rusad Din Asad attended the ceremony as the chief guest and distributed certificates among 16 BAF officers who successfully completed the course, according to an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release issued this evening.

Addressing the ceremony, the chief guest expressed the hope that the knowledge, professional skills and experience acquired during the course would enable the graduates to train future generations of pilots and help develop competent, confident aviators capable of safeguarding the country's sovereignty and airspace with dedication and professionalism.

Squadron Leader Mirza Md Zubair Hossain, GD(P), was adjudged the best all-round trainee officer and received the coveted Mofiz Trophy, the ISPR said.

Commanding Officer of the Flying Instructors' School, Group Captain Muhammad Saiful Islam, highlighted the training activities and courses conducted at the institution.

Among others, the Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Bir Shrestha Matiur Rahman, the Commandant of the Air Force Training and Doctrine Command, senior military and civilian officials, and local dignitaries attended the ceremony.
