DHAKA, July 28, 2026 (BSS) - The Motijheel Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested 94 people in separate anti-crime drives.

According to DMP’s media and public relations division press release issued here today, saying that the arrests were made during raids carried out on July 27 in different areas under the division on Monday.

It said that among the arrested, 24 were detained from Paltan Police Station, 30 from Shahjahanpur Police Station, 15 from Khilgaon Police Station, nine from Rampura Police Station, three from Mugda Police Station, 11 from Motijheel Police Station and two from Sabujbagh Police Station.

The arrested individuals were produced before the competent court, the DMP said.
