DHAKA, July 25, 2026 (BSS) – NTV's Nuruddin Ahmed and RTV's Mohammad Momin Hossain have been elected president and general secretary respectively of the Greater Dhaka Journalists Forum in its biennial election held at the Jatiya Press Club here today.

The biennial general meeting and election were held with outgoing President Farid Hossain in the chair.

The newly elected committee also includes Vice Presidents ABM Rafikur Rahman and SM Monirul Islam, Joint Secretary Anjan Rahman, Treasurer Shirin Sultana, Public Welfare Secretary Nurunnabi Robi, Cultural and Publications Secretary Suman Islam, Office Secretary Atikul Islam and six executive members.

The meeting also formed a seven-member advisory council with Kartik Chatterjee, Farid Hossain, Shaheen Chowdhury, Hasan Hafiz, Morsalin Babla, Sahabuddin Sikder and Mahbub Alam as members.
