RAJSHAHI, July 24, 2026 (BSS) - Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) Commissioner Mohammad Foizul Kabir has called for strengthening coordination among concerned agencies to control crime and ensure public safety.

He made the call at a crime review and coordination meeting held at the RMP headquarters on Thursday.

The meeting discussed speedy disposal of cases, quality investigation, anti-narcotics drives, increased night patrols, prompt medical and post-mortem reports, improved police services and compliance with court directives.

The meeting was attended by RMP officials and representatives of RAB, BGB, Narcotics Control Department, River Police, PBI, CID, Rajshahi City Corporation, Rajshahi Medical College Hospital and other organisations.
