Ansar-VDP inks with GP for digital transformation

DHAKA, July 7, 2026 (BSS) - Grameenphone (GP) has entered into a five-year strategic partnership with Bangladesh Ansar and VDP to support the force's digital transformation and enhance its operational efficiency through technology and connectivity.

Under the partnership, GP will provide its nationwide connectivity, digital expertise and enterprise capabilities to support Bangladesh Ansar and VDP in modernising communication and enabling technology-driven services across its nationwide operations, said a GP press release today.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed recently at the Bangladesh Ansar and VDP Headquarters in Khilgaon, Dhaka, by GP's Head of Government and Strategic Business Nurul Ferdous Musanna and Director (Operations) of Bangladesh Ansar and VDP Mohammad Noore Alam Siddique.

Speaking on the occasion, Director General of Bangladesh Ansar and VDP Major General Abdul Motaleb Sazzad Mahmud said, "As Bangladesh Ansar and VDP continues its journey toward modernization and operational excellence, technology remains a key enabler of our future aspirations. 

This partnership with GP represents an important step in strengthening our digital capabilities and enhancing organizational efficiency. We look forward to working together to build a more connected, agile, and future-ready force."
