DHAKA, July 7 ,2026 (BSS) – The Traffic Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has filed 2,062 cases for violating traffic rules in different parts of the capital.

Media and Public Relations Division of DMP statement said that the DMP traffic division conducted campaign against traffic rule breakers during the last 24 hours and filed the cases.

He said the DMP traffic police dumped 524 motor vehicles and towed 384 vehicles during the campaign against traffic rule violations on July 6.

During the drives, DMP filed 85 cases under Ramna zone, 153 cases under Lalbagh , 184 cases under Motijheel  and 533 cases under Wari z, 203 cases under Tejgaon , 272 cases under Mirpur , 387 cases under Uttara  and 245 cases under Gulshan zone.
