RAJSHAHI, July 5, 2026 (BSS)- US Ambassador to Bangladesh Brent T. Christensen participated in various events on  America Week in Rajshahi today.
 
As part of the nationwide ‘America Week’ celebration marking the 250th anniversary of American independence, U.S. Ambassador Brent T. Christensen took part in several programs in Rajshahi.
 
At the start of his visit, he toured the Varendra Research Museum, one of the country’s most important archaeological and cultural institutions, which has received support from the Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP).
 
Later, Ambassador Brent T. Christensen inaugurated Starlink internet service at Varendra University.
During the event, he interacted with university students about robotics, technological innovation, and future digital skills.
 
In the afternoon, a cultural program was held where the U.S. Army’s 25th Infantry Division Band and local Gambhira artists from Rajshahi presented captivating performances.
