DHAKA, July 5, 2026 (BSS) – As part of the ongoing reshuffle in police administration, three Superintendents of Police (SPs) have been transferred to different district and unit across the country.

The home affairs ministry today issued the transfer order here today saying that Faridpur and Jhalokathi districts get new SPs.

In the notification, deputy commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Shahriar Mohammad Miazi has been appointed as SP of Faridpur district, while SP of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Mohammad Badrul Alam Molla to Jhalokathi district as SP.

It, however, said that SP of Faridpur district Md Nazrul Islam has been transferred to the CID as SP.

The notification stated that this order, issued in the public interest, would take immediate effect.
