DHAKA, June 30,2026 (BSS) - Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested 94 
people allegedly involved in various crimes during special drives conducted 
in different areas of the capital.

The DMP'S various units conducted the day-long drives on Monday, Deputy 
Commissioner of the DMP's Media and Public Relations Division, NM Nasiruddin, 
said here today.

Among the arrested, there were three non-listed extortionists, he said.

Police also arrested 44 people on charges related to terrorism, hijacking and 
robbery and 47 others for alleged drug trafficking, the release added.

Police said such drives will continue to maintain public safety and the 
country's law and order.
