DHAKA, June 29, 2026 (BSS)- A mobile court today conducted a drive at Sayedabad Bus Terminal to ensure discipline in the road transport management and keep the terminal operational in the public interest.
The drive was led by Executive Magistrate Mohammad Aminul Islam of the Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC).
During the drive an abandoned bus belonging to TR Travels, which had been left inside the terminal for a long period and was disrupting its normal operations, was removed and sent for dumping.
The mobile court also filed two cases against individuals for routinely carrying out vehicle repair work inside the bus terminal by keeping the vehicles parked there. A total of Taka 10,000 was realized as fines in the cases.
The DSCC authorities said it would continue conducting such drives on a regular basis to keep city roads, bus terminals and public spaces free from encroachment and ensure smooth movement of the travelers.
