CHATTOGRAM, June 28, 2026 (BSS)- City Mayor Dr. Shahadat Hossain has said it is the collective duty of all to enhance the beauty and livability of the city. 

There have many malicious attempts and conspiracies to obstruct the development efforts. But all should work together to overcome the challenge, he said.

Shahdat said this while inaugurating installation of LED Street lights at Khalpar area of Firingibazar ward in the city. 
 
The mayor said the CCC’s primary aim is to make a clean, green, healthy, safe, and smart city. Work is being done to achieve the goal.

The event was attended by former general secretary of BNP’s Kotwali thana unit Zakir Hossain and other local leaders.
