DHAKA, June 28, 2026 (BSS) - The government today appointed additional 
secretary Md Moniruzzaman Miah as new commissioner of Dhaka division.

"The order issued in public interest will be effective immediately," 
according to a notification issued by the Public Administration Ministry here 
in this regard.

Md Moniruzzaman Miah has been serving as the additional secretary of the 
Housing and Public Works Ministry, he added.
