DHAKA, June 27, 2026 (BSS) - Police have arrested 28 suspected criminals through special operations from the city's Mirpur areas.
 
"They were allegedly involved in various crimes under Mirpur Model Police Station," said a press release issued by the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) 
media division here today.

Later, police produced them before the court, according to the DMP press release.

The arrested are Md Siamur Rahman Mahim (18), Md Abdullah (20), Md Tamim (19), Md Rabiul Hasan (19), Md Biplob Hossain (19), Md Hannan (48), Md 
Shahabul Islam (44), Md Sohel Rana (25), Md Shahin (32), Md Nazmul Haque (30), Md Masud (32), Md Apu (30), Md Kawsar (30), Md Nasir Uddin (28), Tanjin Alam (30), Md Maruf (19), Md Amirul Islam (25), Md Mahmudul Hasan Mamun (20), Amir Hamza (21), Md Mizanur Rahman Babu (27), Ibrahim (36), Md Hanif Hawlader (35), Irfan Uddin Abir (18), Masum (29), Md Amin (32), Zidan (18), Alauddin (18) and Md Hasan Khan (23).
