DHAKA, June 26, 2026 (BSS) - Members of Police have arrested 11 people in a special drive conducted in the Turag Police Station area of the capital.

Turag Police conducted the drive on Thursday in different crime-prone areas and nabbed the individuals.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of the Media and Public Relations Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Niaz Mehdi disclosed the information today.

The arrested are Md. Kamrul Hasan Sujan, 22, Md. Shah Farhad, 25, Md. Jafar, 19, Md. Tanvir Ahmed, 35, Md. Shahid Mia, 55, Md. Yamin alias Nayan, 26, 
Mosammat Champa Akter Mishti, 34, Md. Fahim Hossain, 27, Hridoy Chowkidar, 26, Md. Monir Hossain, 25, and Md. Zahid Hossain.

The arrestees include accused in regular and warrant cases as well as individuals involved in various criminal activities. They have been sent to 
court.
