DHAKA, June 21, 2026 (BSS) – Police during a special operation arrested 19 suspected criminals from city’s Jatrabari area of the capital.

“They were involved in various crimes under Jatrabari Police Station area,” according to a release issued by media and public relation division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) here today.

It said that the arrested were accused in regular, warrant cases and involved in various crimes.

“Police produced them before the court,” the DMP release said.

The  arrested are - Md Mosharraf Hossain (49), Md Russell (24), Md Khalil Mia (50), Md Rishad (23), Ruhi Akhter (22), Tausif (18), Md Nasir (19), Md Masud Rana alias Roni (25), Md Billal Bhuiyan (24), Md Shuvo (19), Md Shahin Kausar (47), Md Belal Hossain (40), Ferdous Kamal, Rasheda Begum, Roksana Begum, Md Saddam, Md Didarul Alam Tipu, Md Yusuf Majumder and Md Shafiul Alam.

According to sources from Jatrabari Police, police conducted a special operation in various crime-prone areas under this police station and arrested 19 people involved in various crimes.
