KOTRA Dhaka to launch K-Goods Festa 2026 tomorrow

DHAKA, June 18, 2026 (BSS) - KOTRA Dhaka, the Commercial Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, will launch the two-day "K-Goods Festa 2026" tomorrow at Jamuna Future Park (East Court) in the capital, showcasing a diverse range of Korean beauty, skincare, lifestyle, food and electronics products.

The festival, scheduled for June 19-20, is expected to bring together Bangladeshi consumers, retailers, distributors and importers, providing them with an opportunity to experience the latest Korean consumer trends and innovations, said a press release. 

Visitors will also enjoy special discounts of 15-20 percent on products during the event.

The opening ceremony will be attended by Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Bangladesh Kim Ji-joon and other distinguished guests from both countries. 

Main stage programmes will begin at 5 pm tomorrow with a congratulatory message from the ambassador.

A variety of cultural and interactive activities have been arranged for visitors, including K-pop performances, a K-Beauty makeup show by professional artists, a Buldak Spicy Noodle Challenge, and Korean food experiences featuring gimbap, tteokbokki and a live kimchi-making demonstration.

According to KOTRA Dhaka, the festival aims to promote Korean beauty, skincare and lifestyle products in Bangladesh while creating new market opportunities for Korean brands and strengthening the presence of existing Korean businesses in the country.

The exhibition will feature products from Korean companies across multiple sectors, reflecting Korea's growing influence in the global consumer goods market. Products from leading Korean electronics brands Samsung and LG will also be displayed. Renowned Korean beauty brands K-Seoul and Velvenus will participate directly from Korea to showcase their latest innovations.

The event will bring together leading Bangladeshi importers, distributors and retailers of Korean consumer products, including Korean Mart BD, Skin Care BD, Korean Beauty Concept, Relumins Skin Care and Pharma, Korean Skin and Health Care Clinic, Bella BD, Eternal Traders and KOBA International.

Visitors will also have access to a Hanbok try-on station, an instant photo studio, a Korea Tourism information booth and a GKS Scholarship desk, alongside branded experience booths and product exhibitions.
