DHAKA, June 17, 2026 (BSS) - The Dhaka Education Board has issued guidelines and a list of approved calculators and wristwatches for candidates appearing in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Examination 2026.

According to an order issued today by the office of the Controller of Examinations, examinees will be allowed to use only specified models of non-programmable scientific calculators and ordinary analogue wristwatches at examination centres.

The board said candidates may use the following non-programmable scientific calculator models during the examinations: FX-82MS, FX-100MS, FX-570MS, FX-991MS, FX-991EX, FX-991ES, FX-991ES Plus and FX-991CW.

The order also stated that, in addition to the above scientific models, students may use any standard (normal) calculator during the examinations.

The board further clarified that examinees will be permitted to use only non-programmable analogue wristwatches with hands inside examination centres.
