Concerned officials have been directed to mandatorily submit their asset statements to the Ministry of Land by June 25, 2026.
This directive was given in a letter recently issued by the Administration-4 Sub-Branch of the Ministry of Land.
The letter said, prior instructions had been given to all employees of Upazila Land Offices, Revenue Circle Offices, and Union Land Offices, including Kanungos, Surveyors, Union Land Assistant Officers, Union Land Sub-Assistant Officers, Process Servers, Office Assistants, Chainmen, and Security Guards, working under the field-level management and revenue administration of the Ministry of Land to submit their asset statements to the ministry using the prescribed form.
However, Assistant Commissioners (Land) have been kept outside this list.
The Ministry of Land said this initiative is being carried out to ensure administrative transparency, accountability, and good governance among officials working in the respective departments.
The letter further mentioned that asset statements of Kanungos, Surveyors, Union Land Assistant Officers, and Union Land Sub-Assistant Officers working in field-level revenue administration have not yet been received.
Consequently, all concerned District Commissioners, Divisional Commissioners, and responsible officials have been directed to take necessary measures and ensure submission of the information within the set deadline.
