DHAKA, April 12, 2026 (BSS) - The Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) today started 
the 'Inter-Service Azan and Quirat Competition-2026' at Shaheen Mosque of BAF 
Base Bashar here.

Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Logistics) Rear Admiral Md Shafiqur Rahman 
inaugurated the competition as the chief guest, according to an Inter 
Services Public Relations (ISPR) release issued here this afternoon.

A total of 36 participants from the Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Navy and 
Bangladesh Air Force are taking part in the competition.

On the opening day, the Quirat competition was held among the participants. 
Senior officers from the three services and other members were present at the 
opening ceremony, it said.

The closing ceremony and prize distribution of the Inter-Service Azan and 
Quirat Competition-2026 will be held on April 15, 2026, the ISPR added.
