DHAKA, April 12, 2026 (BSS) - The Tejgaon Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested 52 individuals in the last 24 hours as part of an ongoing anti-crime drive in the capital.
The arrests were made during routine operations conducted on Saturday across different areas under the Tejgaon Division.
The detained individuals were allegedly involved in various criminal activities. Police said legal proceedings against the arrested persons are currently underway.
Authorities emphasized that such drives will continue to maintain law and order and curb criminal activities in Dhaka.
Deputy Police Commissioner N.M. Nasiruddin of the Media and Public Relations Division of DMP confirmed the matter
The DMP stated that the force remains committed to ensuring public safety through regular enforcement drives.
