DHAKA, Mar 25, 2026 (BSS) - The government has issued a gazette notification extending the retirement age of the employees of national news agency Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) to 62 years from 60 years.

The Information and Broadcasting Ministry issued the gazette to this end on March 15, 2026, which will come into effect from December 11, 2011.
