DHAKA, Feb 10, 2026 (BSS) – Police have arrested a female drug dealer with yaba tablets and heroin from the Pallabi police station area in the city.

The arrestee was identified as Sony Akter, 30, according to a press release issued today by the Media and Public Relations Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).

Acting on a tip-off, a team from Pallabi police station raided the Millat Camp area around 11:50 pm last night and arrested Sony along with 480 yaba tablets and 95 small packets (puria) of heroin.

A case has been filed with Pallabi police station.
