DHAKA, Feb 5, 2026 (BSS) - US-Bangla Airlines today honoured Najmun Nahar with the title 'Flag Laureate of National Pride' for carrying 
Bangladesh's national flag across 184 countries, making her the first Bangladeshi to achieve this feat.

Nahar also became the world's first Muslim woman to undertake such an extensive journey with a national flag. 

Her mission symbolises courage, unity, peace and environmental responsibility across international borders, said a press release here. 

Certificate was presented at US-Bangla Airlines office in presence of senior officials including Kamrul Islam, General Manager of Public Relations, and Mir Tajmul Hossain, Head of Digital Marketing.

The release said that the Us-Bangla airline remains committed to honouring individuals who embody the nation's pride, resilience and global responsibility. 

Nahar's achievement represents Bangladesh's spirit on a truly global stage through her historic journey spanning nearly every nation worldwide, it added.
