DHAKA, Feb 5, 2026 (BSS) - Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested 13 
people across eight Police Stations in the capital during the last 24 hours 
as part of Operation Devil Hunt Phase-2.

Deputy Police Commissioner (Media and Public Relations Division) of the DMP 
Muhammad Talebur Rahman confirmed.

According to the DMP sources, day-long drives were conducted on Wednesday in 
crime-prone areas under Sutrapur, Khilgaon, Hazaribagh, Badda, Shilpanchal, 
Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Shahbagh and Uttara Pashchim Police Stations.

The highest number of arrests was made in Khilgaon, 3, and Uttara Paschim, 2, 
while other stations recorded one or two arrests each.

All those arrested have been sent to court, the sources added.
