DHAKA, Feb 02, 2026 (BSS)- A massive election rally in support of BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman in Dhaka-17 constituency was held today.

This procession began from UAE Friendship Market near Kakoli. It was led by chief election coordinator for the constituency valiant Freedom Fighter Abdus Salam, Joint Coordinator Farhad Halim Donar, and BNP Chairman's Advisor Nazimuddin Alam.

People from all walks of life participated in the procession. Residents of Gulshan, Banani, Baridhara, and Cantonment areas also took part in their procession in a large number.

The procession began from Kakoli and marched through Gulshan-2, Gulshan-1 DCC Market via Gausul Azam Mosque, Mohakhali Wireless Gate, and ended at Mohakhali Amtali.

Addressing the gatherings Abdus Salam said, this long procession proves that Tarique Rahman will win the election on the 12 February.  Popularity of BNP is increasing day by day, h esaid.

Salam said BNP is a political party that keeps its promises. Tarique Rahman will fulfill the promises he made to the people. 

He urged all to remain vigilant about those who engage in secret politics and deceive people.
