DHAKA, Jan 29, 2026 (BSS) - BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has stood by the Muazzin who was dismissed for participating in election campaigning in favor of the BNP's candidate.

The news item titled 'Muazzin dismissed for campaigning in favor of BNP candidate' published in various news media came to the attention of BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman.

A delegation of the BNP met today with the dismissed Muazzin Al Amin Chowdhury in Naogaon.

Member Secretary of Amra BNP Poribar Agriculturist Md. Moksedul Momin (Mithun) was present in the event. 

At that time, he conveyed a message of solidarity on behalf of BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman and expressed commitment to stand by him in the future, along with providing two months' advance salary.
