CHATTOGRAM, Jan 27, 2026 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion have arrested two more persons in connection with the murder of RAB Deputy Assistant Superintendent Md. Motalab Hossain Bhuiyan in a terrorist attack in Salimpur area of the city.

So far, a total of 5 people have been arrested in this case. 

The arrestees were identified as Mizan, 53, son of Delwar Hossain from Chandpur district, and Md Mamun, 38, son of Borhan Uddin from Sandwip Upazila of the district.

RAB-7 Assistant Superintendent (Media) ARM Muzaffar Hosne said that the arrests were made during separate operations in the Khulshi and Bayezid Bostami police station areas of the city on Sunday and Monday night.
