DHAKA, Jan 19, 2026 (BSS) - Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has prepared a set of fresh directives regarding house rent to protect the rights and interests of tenants and landlords within the DNCC area.

The guideline has been formulated in line with the House Rent Control Act, 1991. To officially unveil the guideline, DNCC has arranged a press conference to be held tomorrow, said DNCC Public Relations Officer Md Zobayer Hossain.

He said the press conference will take place at 12:00 noon tomorrow at Level-6 of the Nagar Bhaban located in Gulshan-2 in the capital.

DNCC Administrator Mohammad Ejaz will present the guideline at the press conference, where various aspects of the guideline will be explained in detail.
