DHAKA, Nov 22, 2025 (BSS) - Members of the Armed Police Battalion (APBn) today seized 1.3 kilograms of gold and arrested a man from the car parking area of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) for his alleged involvement in gold smuggling.

The detainee has been identified as Nurul Alam, 30.

On information, an APBn team conducted a raid in the area, seizing the gold and detaining Alam. 

Officers also recovered 13,970 Saudi Riyal from his possession.

A case has been filed against him.
