TANGAIL, Nov 14, 2025 (BSS) - Advocate Ahmed Azam Khan, vice-chairman of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), said the uncertainty that had existed among the public regarding the election has now dissipated following the address to the nation delivered by Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus.

"The Chief Adviser's speech fulfilled the nation's expectations. Following the address, all political parties have become election-oriented and the entire nation, along with all administrative bodies, is currently preparing for the election," he said.

Azam Khan made the remarks while visiting Araipara village in Shakhipur Upazila, Tangail, where he provided financial assistance to an auto driver injured in an accident.

In his speech, the BNP leader declared that those who commit sabotage will no longer have a place in the country's politics.

The BNP Vice-Chairman said that the public is unwilling to witness further attempts to create uncertainty and conduct sabotage under the pretext of a lockdown.

Addressing journalists, Azam Khan, also the BNP nominated candidate for the Tangail-8 (Basail-Shakhipur) constituency, said the people desire to see politics centered on national development and supports the establishment of a democratic, elected government for the benefit of the country.

The elections will be held involving the political parties that choose to participate, and the results-victory and defeat-will ultimately be determined by the people's votes.
