BSA screens documentary highlighting 'Killings and Looting' of Fascist's regime

DHAKA, Nov 12, 2025 (BSS)- A nationwide documentary film exhibition titled “Fascist Killings and Looting” has been going on this evening showcasing oppression, state violence, and the people’s resistance against previous fascist brutality led by former Awami League government.

Organized by Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) under the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, the exhibition is focused on the human cost of political repression and the struggle for justice during a period marked by extrajudicial killings, disappearances and systemic looting.

Screenings have been going on simultaneously at several key locations across the capital, including: TSC of Dhaka University, Rabindra Sarobar in Dhanmondi, Bahadur Shah Park, Mirpur Pallabi (Hanif Smriti Maath), Uttara Sector 7 Mukta Mancha, Uttara ZajiraChattar, Mohammadpur Town Hall area, Hatirjheel Amphitheater, according to BSA.

Through documentary storytelling, the event seeks to preserve historical memory and awaken collective awareness about the atrocities committed during the fascist regime.
