DHAKA, Nov 04, 2025 (BSS) -The newly appointed Administrator of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Md Mahmudul Hassan today attached top priority to showing highest professionalism with utmost sincerity and people’s involvement for enhancing civic services.  

“The city corporation plays a vital role in disseminating citizens’ service which affects all city people directly,” he said while exchanging views with the senior officials of the corporation at the Nagar Bhaban here, a press release said.  

“Despite limitation of resources, we must ensure providing highest level of services to our citizens, residing in the capital,” he added.

He stressed the need for ensuring birth and death registration, controlling of Dengue diseases, waste management and timely completion of the ongoing development programmes of the corporation.

The Administrator also instructed the zonal executive officers of the corporation to enhance people’s attachment and emphasized on giving priority to people’s sentiments. 

Among others, Chief Executive Officer of the DSCC Md Zahirul Islam, its Secretary Shafiqul Islam, chiefs of different departments, superintendent engineers and zonal executive officers, were present at the view exchange meeting.
