DHAKA, Oct 25, 2025 (BSS) - The jail authorities in a statement today said former Chattogram Port Authority (CPA) chairman Rear Admiral (Retd.) Md Sohail is now in Keraniganj jail.

Earlier, rumor surfaced on social media that Sohail was seen in Toronto, Canada.

Following the dissemination of the rumor, the authorities rejected the claim and confirmed Sohail remains in custody at Keraniganj jail. 

The jail authorities urged all not to trust unverified information online.
