RANGPUR, Oct 19, 2025 (BSS) - Deputy Director General (DDG) of Ansar and 
VDP's Rangpur Range Mohammad Abdul Awal has said that the responsibilities of 
the officers to serve the nation always increase with their promotions. 
 
"By joining the new posts, the promoted officers will have to work more and 
more for peace and order and the development of the country," he said. 

He said this while addressing a rank adorning ceremony to wear rank badges to 
eight Upazila Instructors/Female Instructors of Ansar-VDP of Rangpur Range at 
the conference room of Mahiganj Ansar-VDP Training Center in the city on 
Sunday as the chief guest.

The Ansar-VDP Deputy Director General wore rank badges to eight promoted 
officers of the organisation in the ceremony.

Rangpur District Commandant of Ansar-VDP Md Rashedul Islam presided over the 
rank batch wearing ceremony moderated by Kawnia Upazila Trainer Md Jewel 
Rana. 

Assistant Director Md Faruk Hossain, monitoring field workers, public 
relations assistants and promoted officers were present at the time. 

The promoted officers are: Instructors Anju Ara Begum of Sadullapur Upazila, 
Uttam Kumar Debnath of Shaghata Upazila and Kanak Kumar Dutta of Palashbari 
Upazila Gaibandha district, Rekha Rani Roy of Pirganj Upazila of Thakurgaon, 
Tahera Khatun of Kawnia Upazila of Rangpur, Gris Chandra Roy of Dinajpur 
Sadar Upazila, Sohel Rana of Dinajpur Biral Upazila, and Monir Hossain of 
Panchagarh Sadar Upazila.
