DINAJPUR, Sept 30, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) standing
committee member Dr AZM Zahid Hossain has urged party men to reach out
martyred President Ziaur Rahman's ideals to the doorsteps of the people in
the country.
"BNP, founded by martyred President Ziaur Rahman, remains committed to
working for the welfare of the grassroots people by standing beside them in
their joys and sorrows," he said.
Dr Zahid made the remarks while addressing a view-exchange meeting with the
Jatiyatabadi Mohila Dal at the Birampur Pilot High School ground this
afternoon.
The meeting was organised by the Birampur Upazila and Municipal units of the
Mohila Dal.
If BNP is voted to power in the upcoming national elections, the party will
create employment opportunities for one crore unemployed youth and increase
the number of beneficiaries under the old-age and widow allowance schemes, he
added.
Zahid Hossain urged leaders and activists of all affiliated organisations of
BNP, including the Mohila Dal, to carry out the responsibility of delivering
the party's 31-point reform programme to every household.
He called upon party members to engage with the public with sincerity, listen
to their opinions and serve them with dedication.
Dinajpur District BNP General Secretary Bakhtiar Ahmed Kochi and District
Jubo Dal Convener Masudur Islam Masud expressed solidarity with the party's
grassroots initiatives and emphasized organisational unity.
