DHAKA, July 17, 2025 (BSS) - Police arrested Jhalokathi Awami League (AL) organizing secretary Mohammad Habibur Rahman (56) from the capital's Uttara area. 

He was arrested in a raid conducted on the sixth floor of the BNS Center under Uttara Police Station around 3:30 am today. 

Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Muhammad Talebur Rahman confirmed the arrest.

Habibur is an accused in the case filed in the case with vandalism and arson during the anti-discrimination movement at Jhalokathi Sadar Police Station.
