DHAKA, May 5, 2025 (BSS) – Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has issued instructions regarding car parking on the occasion of the return of former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia to the country after her medical treatment tomorrow morning.

A press release, signed by Deputy Commissioner of Police (Media and Public Relations Division) of DMP Muhammad Talebur Rahman, issued here today said that Begum Khaleda Zia will return to the country after her medical treatment from London at 10.30 am tomorrow and will proceed to her residence (Gulshan) from the airport.

Therefore, as there is a possibility of excessive crowd gathering and traffic congestion in the Gulshan-Banani areas to welcome her, the following instructions for parking the cars of journalists and arriving guests are given for the purpose of smooth traffic management:

All journalists arriving at the airport are requested to park their vehicles in the multi-storey car parking of the airport.

The vehicles of the welcoming-guests arriving at the airport are requested to park in the vacant place of Swadesh Properties adjacent to the 300-feet road.

All journalists arriving in Gulshan are requested to park their vehicles in one lane on the road surrounding Gulshan Society Park.

The vehicles of the guests arriving in Gulshan should be kept in one lane on the road around Justice Shahabuddin Park.

It is specifically requested not to park vehicles on the highway or any other place except the designated place mentioned.

All are requested not to park any vehicles on the movement route.
